HOW SOAR 2 RESILIENCE STARTED

Michelle's journey began more than 30 years ago when doctors diagnosed her with a host of endocrine system failures. Unsatisfied with conventional approaches to rectify her ailments, she searched for an active way to change her biology and enhance her life. That's when she discovered yoga, meditation, breathing techniques, Ayurveda and energy medicine.

Michelle is known for creating a new life for her students; whether the birth of a human being or a new path for a more vibrant, fulfilling life. She has trained with some of the most successful thought leaders and healers in today's world and has effectively reclaimed her health. In fact, in 2009 Michelle delivered her third child (something multiple doctors told her was impossible). Now her mission is to help others achieve the life of their dreams.

Working with Firefighters in Southern California, she realized that the true path to a joy filled life is the balance of the mind, body and breath. If the breath is shallow, the body will be agitated. If the body is agitated, then there goes the mind. This works in the opposite direction as well.

Michelle trains her students to Stop, Observe, Assess, and then Respond (SOAR) in any situation so that they will make decisions with clarity rather than based on an emotional reaction. These tools empower people to access and nurture their deepest intuition. To take a pause, assess a situation and respond appropriately is the first step to enable a person to move from chronic stress, to one of ease, calm and ultimately joy. It’s an inside job.

Learning these proven techniques enables her students to feel empowered, even when there are challenges with health, parenting, their job, family, or their juggling between work and home lives. She created the SOAR 2 Resilience program in order to be able to give individuals and corporate clients the same simple and effective tools to improve their daily lives that she gives her first responders. Her goal is to help all students achieve a greater sense of health, freedom, and joy; to learn how to become the best versions of themselves, on and off the job. Her knowledge merges eastern wisdom traditions with western science to provide people with the how-to knowledge to dramatically improve health and well-being .
